BkEdCert is a division of the Pacific Rim Institute for Development and Education (PRIDE). http://www.pridengo.org PRIDE was established in 1990 as a non-profit charity and is tax exempt under IRS Section 501(c)(3). PRIDE's mission is to provide education and to foster ethical business practices on a global basis.

 

BKEdCert was established to provide credit counseling and debtor education as required by BAPCPA. We do not provide debt management plans or any other services typically provided by credit counseling organizations. We are not related to any of the old consumer credit counseling agencies nor do we employ people who were trained by them.

 

We feel clients are best served by counselors who do not have any conflicts either real or potential. All counseling and debtor education services are provided or supervised by experienced attorneys with many years experience dealing with clients who have financial problems. We are an attorney managed and supervised organization which understands the importance that referred clients are properly treated so as to not interfere with the relationship the client has with the referring attorney. It is not our role to provide legal advice and we understand what that means.

 

We also understand the time pressures a consumer Bankruptcy attorney has and will assure you and your clients the prompt and professional attention you deserve.
